It now has 18 US franchises.
Southport-based BPS said the new franchises were in California, Virginia and Georgia. Its global trade exchange business, Bartercard, now has a presence in eight US states.
Bartercard USA President and CEO Paul Bolte
Bartercard US President and chief executive Paul Bolte said BPS planned to expand the Bartercard network to open doors to more American small and medium businesses.
The eight US states now covered by Bartercard “accounted for a quarter of the nation’s economic growth”.
BPS Technology chief executive Trevor Dietz said North America represented a significant opportunity to expand its business base.
Mr Dietz said the US expansion of Bartercard was a key driver of the growth of BPS, which achieved record levels of new monthly members in August.
